Abraham Justified By Faith
Romans 4:1-8
In our in-depth study through the book of Romans, we learn that salvation is not something earned, but is established solely on the basis of faith. This concept of faith-righteousness is not something new as Pastor Jack will point out here in chapter 4, but is a principle that even Abraham followed. For indeed we read that God declared him righteous based on his faith alone and not by anything he did. This illustration is especially important because it applies to us as well.
