The Parables of Jesus: Lessons in Life from the Master Teacher

The parables of Jesus have long challenged expositors and stimulated preachers. Often it is overlooked that the primary purpose of the parables was to instruct. In light of this, Pentecost is diligent to keep each parable in the context that it was originally spoken, that we may receive the same instruction that Jesus intended for His disciples. In doing so, he does a great job of summarizing and analyzing the meaning of each parable. I found his work constant, clear, brief and to the point.
