Revelation 1:9-20

John records for us his encounter with the risen Lord Jesus Christ. While Christ was on earth, John found himself to be completely at ease and at home with his Lord. But now, seeing Him in His risen, glorified state, John becomes dreadfully afraid and falls down as dead. Jesus then comforts His beloved disciple assuring Him that He is the eternal God. He then instructs John to write down what he has just seen and then the incredible revelations that are forthcoming.
