How Glorious Is Our God
Psalms 16-20
In Psalm 16, we find David, because of his distrust in works and his hatred of idolatry, flees to God for salvation and preservation. Psalm 17, shows David's confidence in his integrity and cries out to God to be his defense against his prideful enemies. Psalm 18 is a praise and thanksgiving psalm as David reflects back upon his life and God’s faithfulness to him. Psalm 19 is about God's Word and the many ways He seeks to reveal Himself to man. Finally in Psalm 20, we find the people preparing for war and wanting a godly leader who is in touch with God. Certainly this should be the cry of our nation today.
