I Am My Beloved's (Part 2)
Song of Solomon 5-8
As a reminder, this book is an allegory depicting God’s love for His people as seen through the relationship that Solomon has for this Shulamite woman. She is not a woman of the courts, but is a country girl, whose skin is dark from working in the sun. Certainly she depicts the church made up of mostly Gentiles who were outside the commonwealth of Israel. She longs for her bridegroom as she should, but through the relationship between the two there are challenges that intensify their love for each other.
