Lessons From The Potter
Jeremiah 18-20
In chapter 18 and 19, Jeremiah is given an object lesson of the Potter, a scene that was common in his day. In this lesson, we see the sovereignty of God as illustrated in the work of the potter’s hands. The clay typifies the nation of Judah and also our very lives. The application shows us that sometimes we become marred causing the Lord’s hand to come smashing down on us so that He can start over and make us anew.
