1 Samuel 14:24-52

In contrast to the faith of Saul's son, Jonathan as seen in the previous study, our focus is now switched to his father, King Saul, who is characterized as a weak leader driven by his flesh. Pastor Jack reminds us that a double minded man is unstable in all of his ways and certainly this was true of Saul. In spite of Saul's refusal to follow the Lord, God is patient giving him time to turn to Him. Pastor Jack points out that Saul is pushing God's mercy and unfortunately will one day run out.
